Proverbs 29:25-27

²⁵ The ^(A)fear of man ^[a]brings a snare,
But he who ^(B)trusts in the Lord will be exalted.
^26 (C)Many seek the ruler’s ^[b]favor,
But ^(D)justice for man comes from the Lord.
²⁷ An ^(E)unjust man is abominable to the righteous,
And he who is ^(F)upright in the way is abominable to the wicked.
